Log into Moodle

Students: Not all courses use Moodle. Please make sure your instructor is using Moodle by viewing a list of courses.

Attention Rutgers Students: If you are a Rutgers student and your instructor is using Moodle you will need to make sure that you have an NJIT UCID. 

  • To request a UCID please visit: https://newacct.njit.edu/~accts/cgi-bin/new.
  • If you are not sure whether you have a UCID please call the helpdesk (973)596-2900. 
  • Once you request your UCID it can take up to 48 hours to be loaded into your Moodle course. 
  • If you have any questions, are experiencing problems or want to check the status of your UCID please call the help desk at 973-596-2900.

In the spring 2008 semester we moved Moodle to a new server.  In order to access Moodle users should login from this site. 

If at any time you are experiencing problems and are unable to log in please let the helpdesk know at 973-596-2900 (be sure to tell them you are using Moodle). 

Mahara ePortfolio

For the spring 2010 semester NJIT launched a Mahara ePortfolio site from within Moodle.  See our Mahara demo for more information.
